JOHN PERKINS
John Perkins b. 1769-1779 ? (MA?). His wife NANCY (MERRILL). They removed *possibly* from Reading, MA and are listed on the 1800 and 1810 Census at Reading, Windsor Co., VT Census. They are then listed on the 1820-1840 Census at Castleton, Rutland Co., VT

Their known child was:

1. Bailey M. Perkins b.1791-1799 Reading, Windsor Co., VT
2. Woodbury Perkins b.1808 Reading, MA/VT ? m. in 1830;  
Delia Kellogg

PELMEDUS PERKINS
Pelmedus Perkins b. ca. 1775 VT . **POSSIBLE** Son of (Charles & Abigail (Waterman) Perkins). His wife m. 12.3.1795 at Grafton, Windham Co., VT;  ESTHER (FISHER). They were married at Grafton, Windham Co., VT on 12.3.1795.

I find a land purchase deed dated 9.3.1797 recorded in the Grafton Co., VT Deeds 1781-1794, 1781-1952 Book between Nehemiah Edson of Grafton, Windham Co., VT and Pelmedus Perkins. Pelmedus is purchasing land located  on Lot #12 at Grafton, Windham Co., VT.

I find in the New York Land Records 1835-1839, 1801-1803, 1806-1833 Book where in 1822, a Pelmedus Perkins paid Cash on the Principal on land located at Batavia, Genesee Co., NY. *Note*:  It was either the above Pelmedus Perkins or his nephew Pelmedus Perkins who paid interest on this land at Batavia, Genesee Co., NY
