Amos P. Perkins Jr. b. 1781 CT.
Son of (Amos (7) & Cote (Staples) Perkins). His wife
AMY (KENYON)
b. ? d.1858. He was listed on the 1810 Census at New Lisbon, Otsego
Co., NY. By 1820 he was listed on the Census at East Smithfield,
Bradford Co., PA. In 1828 the family removed back to New York and
were listed on the 1830 Census at Batavia, Genesee Co., NY. By 1850 they moved
westward to Sharon Township, Washtenaw Co., MI. Their Known Children were:

d. 1849 London, England. Son of (Matthew & Jane (Noyes) (Dole) Perkins
-,[Matthew, Matthew, Jacob, John Sr. of Ipswich). His wife
HANNAH (GREENLEAF).
He moved from MA to PA in 1816. They were listed
on the 1820 Pennsylvania census in Philadelphia Co., PA. He was the submitter for the first
patent for the Refrigerator. After 1818 he removed to London, England
where he died. He was also the inventor of engraving plates for paper
money and a Valve Pump for fire fighting. He also invented a central
warm air heating system. He had 21 total inventions.
