. They were listed on the
1810 Census at Concord, Delaware Co., PA. In 1810 Reese and his wife Jane Perkins
sell land in West Chichester, Delaware Co., PA to a man by the name of John
Rowan. His 2nd wife

Deed dated 1.17.1861 recorded in the Delaware Co., PA Deeds 1861-1862 book
where Reese Perkins Jr., Joseph Perkins, Jane (Perkins) Hayes, Caleb C.
Perkins, Rachael (Perkins) Quigley, Sarah (Perkins) Sharpley and Sarah
Perkins, widow of Reese Perkins Sr. are selling off a certain plantation and
tract of land to Lewis Perkins situated partly
in the township of Concord, PA and partly in the township of Bethel, PA in
the county of Delaware, PA which Reese Perkins Sr. directed to be sold
within 18 months of his decease to pay his debts & expenses and to be
equally be divided among his children with 1/3 of it going to his wife Sarah
Perkins with interest payable annually during her natural life. Reese
Perkins Sr. appointed Sarah Perkins his wife and Joseph Perkins his
executors of his said last will and testament.

by a certain obligation, paid Caleb Perkins of Concord, Delaware Co., PA
$2400.00 conditioned for the payment of the sum of $1200.00 & interest
in 1 year, do grant, bargain, sell, release all that Plantation and
tract of marsh or meadow situated in Brandywine Hundred, New Castle Co., Delaware, it being the same land and premises which Caleb Perkins father,
by his last will and testament, had owned.

| John Perkins b.ca.1758 NJ
d.8.8.1834/1838? Southampton, Bucks Co., PA. *Probably Son of (Jacob
& Elizabeth (Hellings) Perkins). He was
known to have lived at Southampton, Bucks Co., PA for at least sixty
years. He was blind for seventy years of his life. He was a member of
the Southampton Baptist Church in Southampton, Bucks Co., PA for sixty
years. He is not listed on any census record in Bucks Co., PA even
though he lived there a long time. He evidently resided with a relative. In his Last Will and Testament. He left
all of his money and property to his nephews, son's of his sister: Ruth
(Perkins) Slack. No wife or children of his own are mentioned in his
will.
| John Perkins (above)
is
mentioned in a deed (Book 23, p.354) dated 6.5.1787; heir of John &
Elizabeth (Dungan) Hellings, John Perkins being their grandson. In a second deed (Book 26, p.305) dated 1792 where
he and other "Hellings" are selling the property. Also mentioned is
a Henry & Ruth (Perkins) Slack, "late Ruth Perkins" who was the sister
of John Perkins and a grand-daughter of John & Elizabeth (Dungan)
Hellings. |

and his sister Ruth (Perkins) Slack, were the children of Jacob &
Elizabeth (Hewlings\Heulings) and that this Elizabeth (Hewlings\Heulings)
was the daughter of John & Elizabeth (Dungan) Hellings. **More
