Jason Perkins (1) - S -43816
Served from CT. Soldier was b. 1757 CT. Soldier applied 4-9-1818 from Litchfield, CT and moved to New York 2.10.1827. Had a son living there, Bradley Perkins of Lewis Co., NY. Daughter Sally Perkins who was his only living daughter. Had a grandson living with him, George Washington Perkins who's father died when he was 5. A Gideon Perkins stated that he was at his fathers when he (Jason) returned from service.

 

Jason Perkins (2)
Private. Capt. John Morgan's Co., Col. Ruggles Woodbridge's Regiment. Sept. 10th, 1777. Also given 3 months 13 days in Northern Dept. , including 7 days (140 miles) travel home.

Jencks Perkins - R -08108 (*Rejected)
Served from RI. Soldier was b. ? RI and d. 1812 Whitestown, NY. Soldier was a son of Nathaniel Perkins and a brother of Sands Perkins of South Kingston, RI. His wife was Elizabeth Wanton.

 

Jesse Perkins (3)
Hartwell Brook the first Everidge list of men. Perkins appears among men in detachment sent to  RI. Dec. 6th, 1887 agreeable to resolve.

Jesse Perkins (1) - W -15938
Served from MA. Soldier was b.1755 MA and d. 1-1-1837 Brookline, NH. His wife was Elizabeth Proctor who he married 5-29-1781 at Carlisle, MA. Soldier applied from Hillsborough Co., NH in 1818. Sally Perkins and Stephen Perkins both stated they were present at the death of Jesse Perkins on 1.1.1837.

Private. Capt. Adam Wheeler's Co. (2nd), Lt. Col. Thomas Nixon's regiment. (4th). Nov. 9th, 1776 return dated North Castle, MA. Company receipts for wages for Oct., Nov. & Dec., 1776.

Joel Perkins (1) - S -22437
Served from MA. Soldier was a Private. Soldier b. 1762 MA and d.3-26-1841 Windsor Co., VT. His wife was Eunice Fuller. His children were, Nelson, Alvah Chipman, Joel Fuller, Ebenezer, Eunice, John & Ansel Perkins,  all of Pomfret, Windsor Co., VT. Soldier's brother, William Perkins who m. Judith Clough of West Springfield, MA made a statement in his brothers behalf in 1819. Joel stated that he had hired his brother Samuel Perkins to take his place. Joel stated he had a brother William Perkins who served with him.

Note: In his application file, someone placed a letter stating a son of Joel Perkins was named Eli Perkins b.1786 and that Eli Perkins lived until 1869 in MD and that Matthew Hull's daughter Sarah "Sally" Hull, lived in VT. Matthew's wife was Margaret Wyman. This letter should have been placed in the file of Joel Perkins who m. Mehitable (Brooks).

 

Joel Perkins (3)
Private. Montague, MA. Capt. Robert Oliver's Co., Col. Ephriam Doolittle's Regiment. Aug. 1st, 1775 muster roll. May 1st, 1775 enlisted 3 months, 8 days of service.

Served from MA. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b. 1748 MA and received his pension 1790. His wife was Mehitable Brooks.

 

John Perkens
He enlisted July 23, 1780 and discharged Oct. 27th, 1780. Capt. Edwin Sparrow's Co., Col. John Jacob's Regiment. Service 3 months, 5 days. Middleborough, MA Roll. Regiment detached to reinforce the Continental Army for 3 months.

Served from GA. Soldier was a GA Guard. Soldier was b. 8-19-1759 NC and d. 1854 Marion Co., GA. His wife was Nancy (????).

 

John Perkins (2) - S -05149
Served from MA. Soldier was b. 1753 Wenham, MA. He was still in Wenham, MA 10-2-1832.

 

John Perkins (3) - W -15198
Served from MA. Soldier was b.1755 and d. 3-5-1825. His 1st wife was Ruth Lefavor who he m. at Topsfield, MA on 12-28-1781, his 2nd wife was Sarah Elliot who he m. at Ipswich, MA 2-27-1786. His children were named, Sally Lake, Hezekiah B. Perkins, Rebekah Harwood, Robert Perkins, Mary Lindsey.

 

John Perkins (4) - S -15556
Served from MA. Soldier was a Private. Was on the ship "Warren".  Soldier was b. 12-14-1748 Plymouth, MA and d. 2-10-1835 Barnard, Windsor Co., VT. His wife was Hannah Gardner. His children were listed as Gains Perkins, David G. Perkins, Cyrus Perkins, Mary Buckman.

 

John Perkins (7)
Middleborough, MA. Return of men raised to service in the Continental Army from Capt. Job Perice's Co., Col. Sproutt's 4th Regiment Feb. 19th, 1778. Middleborough, MA residence and engaged for the town of Middleborough, MA. Also joined Capt. Soper's Co., Col. Marshall's Regiment. 3 years of service.

Served from MA. Soldier was a Private. Soldier was b.10-2-1746 MA and d. 10-22-1804 MA. His 1st. wife was Mehitable Hood, his 2nd wife was Miriam Smith.

Private. Capt. James Harlow's Co., Col. Simeon Cary's Regiment. Jan. 29th, 1776 entered service. Service to time of marching, 9 days. Plymouth Co., MA roll.

John Perkins (6)
Served from NH. Soldier b. ? and d. 1-2-1853 Walden, Caledonia Co., VT. His wife was Mary George. They were m. 10-10-1810 Walden, VT. A Samuel Perkins age 54 states that he knew John Perkins for 48 years before his death. A Sally Perkins age 56 states that his widow now lives in this town at Walden, Caledonia Co., VT. In 1855 Mary is age 91 and was married 10.10.1810.
