EBENEZER PERKINS
Ebenezer Perkins b. 10.20.1788 Salem, MA d. 3.19.1863 VT. Son of (John & Miriam (Smith) Perkins) [Ebenezer, John, Isaac, John, Elisha, Thomas, John Sr. of Ipswich, MA]. His wife LUCY (HOOD). They were listed on the 1810 and 1820 Vermont Census at Chelsea, VT.

Their known children were:

ENOS M. PERKINS
Enos Merrill Perkins b. 1784 Gilmanton, N.H. d.1849 Lebanon, Grafton Co., NH. He was a shoemaker by trade. Son of (True & Sarah "Sally" (Merrill) Perkins).  His wife m.5.19.1811 @ Salisbury, Essex Co., MA; JUDITH (COLBY). They came from Southampton, Rockingham Co., New Hampshire to Chelsea, VT. In 1808 I find a land deed filed in Chelsea, VT for land purchase in Chelsea, VT. In 1818 they removed to Lebanon, Grafton Co., NH and then settled at Newport, Sullivan Co., NH. I find Deeds at Chelsea, Orange Co., VT stating that Enos M. Perkins sold his land in Chelsea, Orange Co., VT to Benjamin Perkins Sr. & his son Benjamin Perkins Jr. This being the same land he bought from and sold to Noah Rowe of Chelesa, VT. What the "PERKINS" relationship is (if any) will need to be further researched. I find a deed dated 3.17.1849 where Enos M. Perkins of Newpoort, Sullivan Co., NH purchased a lot of land in Newport, Sullivan Co., NH.

JOHN H. PERKINS
John H. Perkins b.1816 VT. Son of (Ebenezer & Lucy (Hood) Perkins). His wife SILENCE (CASWELL). They first removed to Mexico and returned to Washington Co., VT.

Their known children were:

DAVID PERKINS
David Perkins b. ca. 1783. Son of (Jacob & Martha (Tappan) Perkins).  His wife ELIZABETH "Betsey" (DOUGLAS) b.1783, dau. of  Deacon Ivory Douglas. They were listed on the 1810 Topsham & 1820 Vermont census at Chelsea, Orange Co., VT. He first purchased land at Chelsea, Orange Co., VT on 12.9.1806 from Oliver Smith. In 1808, his brother "Daniel Perkins" of Randolph, Orange Co., VT and Ivory Douglas of the same place, assisted in settling the Estate of Oliver Smith.

Their known children were:

BENJAMIN PERKINS JR.
Benjamin Perkins Jr. b. ca. 1770 N.H. Son of (Benjamin Perkins Sr. & Unknown (Unknown) Perkins).  His 1st wife m. 1798 Chelsea, VT; LOIS (TRUE) b.? d.1810, his 2nd wife m. 1812 @ Lebanon, NH; SUSAN (WHEATLEY) b.1787 NH d.1855 Chelsea, VT.  In 1800 he is listed on the census at Brookfield, Orange Co., VT. In 1810 he is living in the household of his father at Corinth, Orange Co., VT. In 1820-1840 Census they were listed at Chelsea, Orange Co., VT. They are listed on the 1850 Census at Chelsea, Orange Co., VT in the household of his son-in-law Ezra Prentiss.

LEMUEL PERKINS
Lemuel Perkins b.ca.1798 NH d.1838 Topsham, Orange Co., VT. Son of (Timothy & Mary "Polly" (Gentleman) Perkins). His 1st wife LUCRETIA (GENTLEMAN), 2nd. wife HENRIETTA "Hetty" (POMROY).  He came from New Hampshire to the state of Vermont and resided in Orange Co., VT. According to the "History of Stark Co., IL, he lived there in 1819. I do not find him on the 1820 Census.

JARED PERKINS
Jared Perkins b.1793 NH d.1854 Sullivan Co., NH. He was a Methodist Clergyman. Son of (Jacob & Hannah (Chase) Perkins).  His 1st wife CLARISSA (GLIDDEN),  2nd.wife CHARLOTTE H. (HALL). They were listed on the 1820 Census at  Barnard, Windsor Co., VT. They were known to have lived in Orange Co., VT in 1822. I find a 1825 Sharon, Windsor Co., VT Land deed listing him as being from Strafford, Orange Co., VT. The land he purchased in 1825 was a lot of land spit between Strafford, Orange Co., VT and Sharon, Windsor Co., VT he sold this same land in 1826. They removed to Unity, Sullivan Co., NH. He was a prominent Methodist Minister.
